About Cruisers Yachts

Cruisers Yachts traces its roots to 1904, when the Thompson brothers started Thompson Bros. Boat Manufacturing Co. in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. In the early 1950s the family's second generation began building wooden lapstrake cabin cruisers in Oconto, Wisconsin, and the company moved from wood to fiberglass in the mid-1960s. In 1993 K.C. Stock's company bought it and renamed it Cruisers Yachts.

MarineMax acquired Cruisers Yachts in 2021, the same year Cruisers bought a 216,000-square-foot plant in Pulaski, Wisconsin, to add production capacity. Its yachts are built in Oconto and Pulaski, and the current lineup runs from the 34 GLS to the 57 FLY in four series: GLS, VTR, Cantius and FLY.
