Ocean Alexander yachts for sale.

Alex Chueh founded Ocean Alexander in 1977 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where the company is still headquartered. American naval architect Ed Monk Jr. designed its first yacht, the Mark I motor yacht delivered in 1978, and the company worked with Monk for many years. Ocean Alexander built a 71-foot custom yacht in 1984, began using vacuum infusion for its fiberglass parts in 2004, launched its first 100-foot yacht in 2005 and introduced a 120-footer drawn with designer Evan K. Marshall in 2014.

Alex Chueh's son, Johnny Chueh, has led the company since 2000. Its current Revolution, Legend and Puro series are fiberglass motor yachts of about 88 to 132 feet, built at its facilities in Taiwan. From 2016 to 2020 Ocean Alexander also built yachts at a plant on Merritt Island, Florida, before phasing out production there. In the United States its yachts are sold through MarineMax and Alexander Marine USA.
