Trinity yachts from our own listings first, then the wider market.
Trinity Yachts was founded in 1988 by John Dane III as a yacht-building division of Halter Marine, and in 2000 Dane bought the company with partners Billy Smith and Felix Sabates. Trinity built superyachts in aluminum and steel, first at a shipyard on New Orleans' Industrial Canal. After Hurricane Katrina flooded that yard in 2005, Trinity bought a second yard in Gulfport, Mississippi, where most of its later yachts were built.
Trinity delivered more than 50 yachts, the largest of them over 240 feet. In 2015 the company was sold to Harvey Gulf, an offshore vessel operator, which put the Trinity name and the New Orleans yard up for sale later that year. Trinity stopped building yachts in 2017.
